Harrison Ford Says Star Wars: The Force Awakens Is "Really, Really Good" While Dressed as a Giant Hotdog
< >
Last night, Harrison Ford stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to discuss Star Wars: The Force Awakens. But where Jimmy cosplayed as Leia, Han Solo was dressed as a different kind of character altogether. If there was ever any doubt that there is absolutely nothing Harrison Ford can't do, just watch him pull off a hot dog costume:

Kimmel asked Ford about The Force Awakens, and he was careful to stay away from spoilers, which is frustrating, but we'll be glad in the long run.

Opening quote
"Why would you want me to say anything? I want the audience to experience it. I don't want them to hear about it."
Closing quote

So he didn't go into any plot details, but he did give rave reviews to the movie he's not at all biased about:

Opening quote
"I can tell you this. It's really, really good," said Ford. "Trust me, it's really good. The new cast… Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, and Oscar Isaac are phenomenal. J.J. has made an incredible movie. You will not be disappointed at all. I promise you."
Closing quote

Although he would probably say this even if it weren't true, we believe him that the young cast is phenomenal. Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, and John Boyega have already proven themselves in award-winning roles, and relative newcomer Daisy Ridley seems incredibly charming, if her reaction to the most recent trailer is any indication.

Ford also commented on Luke Skywalker's conspicuous absence from promotional materials, especially the comprehensive official poster, and gives our favorite answer so far:

Opening quote
"There wasn't room," he joked. "No, there's a very good reason. I can't tell you."
Closing quote

It would be hilarious if they just forgot to put him in, as that's probably the only crazy fan theory no one ever considered. But that's pretty unlikely, and we're still crossing our fingers for him to be the Big Bad.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18.
