Jessica Jones Is a Hard Drinking, Short-Fused Mess in New Marvel/Netflix Trailer
There are only ten days left before the first season of Jessica Jones hits Netflix, and this trailer highlights all the reasons you're going to want to binge-watch it right away, chief among them Krysten Ritter's Jessica, Mike Colter's Luke Cage, and David Tennant's Purple Man:

While Jessica Jones lives in the same Hell's Kitchen as Daredevil's Matt Murdock, he's a babe in the woods compared to her. Daredevil is defined by his nobility and straightforward heroism, while Jessica is just trying to survive It's refreshing to see a female character who is so openly flawed and complicated; her abrasiveness, emotional unavailability, and sardonic humor positions her to be the first true female antihero on television.

This trailer also highlights Jessica Jones's extremely dark tone and aesthetic, darker than anything Marvel has ever done before. While it's still an action series to a certain extent, most of the time it feels more like film noir with a tinge of psychological horror, especially when the Purple Man comes into play. The cat-and-mouse game between Kilgrave and Jessica looks to be a highlight of the series, and will likely establish him as one of the best and scariest Marvel villains (not that there's much competition on that front).

Marvel's Jessica Jones starts streaming on Netflix on November 20.
