Honest Star Wars Trailer Shows Us Why the Battle of Yavin Was One Big Sexual Innuedo

Honest Trailers exist to make fun of their subjects, which is probably why they avoided tackling Star Wars: A New Hope for so long. But even this groundbreaking, instantly lovable movie has its flaws, as well as its weirdly Freudian implications. Here's the Honest Trailer for a "near-perfect movie" (that George Lucas "made progressively worse with each new edition"):

The trailer spends a lot of time acknowledging how iconic this movie is, and how it changed the entirety of the cinematic landscape, and that Han shot first. But it's still an Honest Trailer, so it also acknowledged a few of the flaws we all miss because of our "nostalgia goggles," like the fact that there are only two female characters in the entire movie, Luke's whining makes Hayden Christensen's Anakin look admirably mature, Obi-Wan and Darth Vader have a climactic lightsaber battle that looks like "two old geezers gently poking at each other," and that the Battle of Yavin becomes one giant sexual innuendo once you start looking for it.

"The best bush pilot in the Outer Rim Territories."
"Look at the size of that thing!"
"It came from behind..."
"We should be able to penetrate the outer defense."
"Almost there... Almost there..."
"It didn't go in!"

That's what she said

You can't un-see it.
