What to Watch This Week: Mark Hamill on The Flash and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Mid-Season Finale
This is probably the last week of normality before we all start to slip into Egg Nog-fueled holiday comas, but we're going out with a bang. After last week's flurry of mid-season finales, the schedule is looking somewhat slimmer this week, but it's not without its treats. After their crossover event, The Flash and Arrow both have some major villainy on their hands, while Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D brings a stellar first half of the season to a close. Monday, December 7th Supergirl - 8:30pm on CBS
As Kara prepares to take some time off without her powers, an Earthquake strikes National City, forcing her to rely on powers of emotion and mental strength to help save her adopted townsfolk.
Tuesday, December 8th The Flash - 8pm on CW Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - 9pm on ABC iZombie - 9pm on CW Wednesday, December 9th Arrow - 8pm on CW Star Wars Rebels - 9pm on Disney XD
The Flash midseason finale is one not to be missed. Before you see him in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, be sure you check out Mark Hamill as he returns with his brilliant portrayal of the Trickster. Trickster isn't The Flash's only Christmas problem, though. Captain Cold and The Weather Wizard are also in on Trickster's plans to take over Central City and do away with Barry Allen once and for all.
After last week's huge episode, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s winter finale is our pick of the week. With Coulson and Fitz both stuck in the mysterious alien world with Ward and his Hydra cronies, acting Director Mack is going to have to pull a rabbit out of the hat to stop Malik's plans for world domination. This will be our first look at the Secret Warriors in action, and we'll be shocked if there aren't more twists and turns in store before the show hands its slot over to Agent Carter for the Winter.
iZombie's Mid-season finale might be the closest we come to seeing a Liv/Arrow crossover. When a High School Teacher/Seattle vigilante is murdered, Liv takes on the victim's crime fighting persona, becoming the cutest zombie superhero we've ever seen.
Damien Darhk steps up his assault on Team Arrow with a new approach in the mid-season finale. Taking everyone close to him hostage, Darhk hopes to eliminate the drivers behind Arrow's fighting spirit. With the likes of Felicity, Diggle and Speedy all in serious danger, Oliver will rely on Laurel and Detective Lance to get the team out of their stickiest situation of the season so far.
After receiving a tip that contacts on Lothal might have information about his parents, Ezra will stop at nothing to get back to his home planet. The only problem? There are two Inquisitors and a massive Imperial army in his way.
Friday, December 11th Z Nation - 10pm on Syfy Saturday, December 12th Ash vs Evil Dead - 9pm on Starz
As the gang finally reach California, they begin to recall where they were when the zombie apocalypse first started.
More wacky shenanigans as Ash and the gang arrive at the survivalist camp and are greeted by what can only be described as complete chaos.
