Watch: Every Single Easter Egg in Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is something of a reboot/sequel, with lots of references, Easter eggs, and homages to the original series (and the prequels, I guess). Now, Mr. Sunday Movies has made a video revealing all of the Easter eggs in the movie, from the obvious and plot-driven to the tiny cameos you never would have noticed. So check it out, but as he says in the video, all the spoilers:

Some of the Easter eggs are just elements of the plot: Rey is a tech-savvy orphan on a desert planet who learns to use the Force, Han Solo makes a Kenobi-esque sacrifice, a hero deals with an evil son rather than an evil father, in a reversal of Empire Strikes Back. But there are also smaller, more specific references: Rey uses the same Jedi mind trick as that famous "these are not the droids you're looking for" scene, Han Solo mentions the famous trash compactor scene, the Millennium Falcon can still do the Kessel run in 12 parsecs.

The video also goes through all of the cameos in the movie, which run the gamut from the infamous (Daniel Craig playing a Stormtrooper) to signature J.J. Abrams cameos (such as Greg Grunberg, whom Abrams calls his "good luck charm") to the completely obscure (Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich). Abrams even found spots for his father and grandfather; the Force is certainly strong with that family.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is now out in theaters.
