Is 'Star Wars: Rogue One' in Trouble?
Star Wars: Rogue One might not be shaping up so well. After the success of The Force Awakens, expectations are obviously high for the next film set in the Star Wars universe, but according to a new report, someone new was brought in to "fix the script".

The report comes from Birth. Movies. Death., who claim that Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation writer/director Christopher McQuarrie was brought on board to rescue the film's script, which apparently wasn't as cohesive as it needed to be. While we're glad to hear that McQuarrie is involved, because he's awesome, the news definitely doesn't fill us with confidence that this movie is going to be any good if it was undergoing what sounds like extensive rewrites so late in the game, especially after two other writers had previously taken a crack at penning the film.

Studios often bring in so-called script doctors to shore up a film's writing, but rarely does this process result in a stunning piece of art. More often than not, the result is a film that feels thrown together and nonsensical, but let's try and remain optimistic that Disney knows what they're doing. After all, they haven't steered us wrong yet... right?
