Here's the Latest on 'Luke Cage' and 'Iron Fist'
Marvel's Luke Cage is filming for Netflix, and we're anxious for any details on what's surely going to be an awesome series in the tradition of Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Series star Mike Colter attended the Television Critics Association winter panel to give an update on the series, and may have revealed that Cage could surprisingly sport the old uniform of 1970s Powerman in the series.
When asked by a reporter if he would don the character's original costume, which composed of a baggy yellow shirt, a chain for a belt, and even a tiara, Colter hinted that he actually would:

Hey, if Marvel got "Sweet Christmas" to work on TV, then we're optimistic. Moving onto the other Marvel Netflix show in development, Iron Fist, Colter gave his thoughts on that, too, saying this when asked if he's excited for Iron Fist:

Hopefully Luke Cage will be in it, as he and Iron Fist are one of the best duos in Marvel Comics, making up the Heroes For Hire. As far as casting on Iron Fist goes, we still don't know who'll be playing our hero Danny Rand, but Netflix's chief of content, Ted Sarandos, did say that the casting is "in progress". That's certainly good news, and should hopefully debunk rumors that the show was being canceled, rumors that ramped up when news of a possible Punisher series broke. Is there any reason why Iron Fist and Punisher couldn't both have their own series? Not that we can come up with. The more Marvel the merrier!

"You know when you see something and you know they're going to do it and you cant believe its real? I'll leave it at that."

"I am, for the main reason that I get a nice little break because I'm like, 'Jessica, Luke — there is an Iron Fist, right?' I'm really excited about it. Whether I'll be in it, I don't know, but it will be nice to see."
