New Villain Hinted in Batman v Superman Photo
We already know a lot about Batman v Superman, including that once they're done pummeling each other, the two heroes will be joined by Wonder Woman to take on bad guys Lex Luthor and Doomsday. But a newly released promotional photo hints at yet another major villain for the film - one who might just be the most powerful of all.

The image in question comes to us via Empire, and is taken from the hallucinatory dream sequence that Batman has in the film. It's worth noting that the scene in question doesn't take place in the real world, but rather is an apocalyptic vision had by Batman. Anyway, here's the new image featuring Batman looking over the desert landscape we've seen before. See if you notice anything weird about it.

If you look in front of the skyline, there's a giant Omega symbol carved into the ground. This sign is closely associated with the supervillain Darkseid, ruler of the planet Apokalips and a major villain of the Justice League. So does this mean Darkseid will be the big baddie for the Justice League film, or even make his first appearance in this movie? Or is it just an Easter Egg slipped into a meaningless dream Bruce Wayne has? We're leaning toward the former, on account that we've already seen what looks like Darkseid's henchmen, parademons, in another scene from Batman's dream in the Batman v Superman trailer.

It certainly seems like Darkseid is going to be a big part of the DCU moving forward, and it looks like they're might even be a chance of him making his debut a lot sooner than we would have expected.
