Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's futuristic espionage thriller, Incorporated, has been picked up for a full season of 13 episodes on Syfy. The Good Wife's Ted Humphrey will serve as showrunner, while Affleck, Damon, and Pearl Street Films president Jennifer Todd are set to executive produce.

Here's the official description of the series, according to THR

Opening quote
[Incorporated is] set in a near future where corporations have unlimited power. The drama centers around Ben Larson (Sean Teale, Reign), a young executive who conceals his true identity to infiltrate a very dangerous corporate world to save the woman he loves. But he'll soon learn that he's not the only one whose secrets may have deadly consequences."
Closing quote

The cast also includes Eddie Ramos (Teen Wolf), Dennis Haysbert (24) and Julia Ormond (Mad Men). The premise sounds fairly interesting, especially since it will likely tie into current political anxieties about the power of corporations.

Opening quote
"The most powerful science-fiction holds up a mirror to our world," Syfy president Dave Howe said. "Incorporated is exactly that type of smart, provocative series, delivering a fresh, edge of your seat thriller that challenges notions of the world we live in today."
Closing quote

Incorporated joins a roster of several new shows, including the surprisingly acclaimed 12 Monkeys and The Expanse. The network is also set to air Gale Anne Hurd's new series Hunters, as well as highly anticipated adaptations of Brave New World and Hyperion.
