Here's How You Can Help Make a Young Justice Season 3 Actually Happen
< >
When it first aired back in 2011, Young Justice rapidly became extremely popular with DC Comics fans. However, after just two seasons, the show was mysteriously canceled by Cartoon Network in 2013. It wasn't until this year that we finally got an explanation as to why one of the hottest comic book shows at the time, was taken off air. Greg Weisman, the show's co-creator, revealed that Young Justice's funding came partly from the sale of Mattel's toys, so when Mattel pulled the plug on the toy line after poor sales numbers, a third season was no longer viable.

Now, though, it looks like there might well be cause for optimism, because people involved with the show have started to suggest that Netflix might well be a potential outlet for new episodes.

When Seasons 1 and 2 of Young Justice came to streaming platform, Weisman issued a call to action to the show's fans, urging them to get online and stream the hell out of it. Now Weisman and Khary Payton (one of the show's original voice talents) are kicking up their rallying cry a couple of notches with the hashtag #RenewYoungJustice and some rather optimistic tweets.

While this might not be a concrete sign that a new season of Young Justice is happening, the fact that Weisman and Payton are attempting to rally the troops is cause for optimism. However, the biggest cause for optimism has to come from the show's massive popularity. If potential viewership is a deciding factor in getting new episodes of Young Justice created, we really shouldn't have any problems.

So, if you want to see Season 3 of Young Justice happen, get onto Netflix, stream it, and give it 5 stars, because there's a good chance you can make a difference in this quest.
