X-Men: Apocalypse Will Be Released One Week Early in the UK
After the huge success of Deadpool, we're even more eager to see the next installment in the X-Men universe. As it turns out, fans in the UK won't have to wait quite as long, as X-Men: Apocalypse is coming out in theaters in the UK and Ireland over a week early.

The film will come out on May 27 in the U.S., and while there's no word on release dates in other countries, cinemas in the UK and Ireland will start playing the film nine days early, on May 18. The film stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Jennifer Lawrence, returning as Professor X, Magneto, and Mystique, respectively, while also adding new mutants, including Oscar Isaac's titular villain and his Four Horsemen (aside from Magneto): Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Psylocke (Olivia Munn), and Archangel (Ben Hardy).

The film is currently in reshoots, and director Bryan Singer previewed a pick-up of a scene that shows us Storm's awesome powers (and possibly Apocalypse's as well):

Here's the official synopsis for X-Men: Apocalypse:

Opening quote
Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help image: http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
