Regal Movie Theaters Are Selling a $100 Movie Ticket That Will Let You See Batman v Superman As Many Times As Possible
Batman v Superman tickets go on pre-sale in less than two days, but it looks like there's one ticket in particular that hardcore Batman v Superman fans will no doubt be vying for: the Regal Ultimate Ticket.

According to recent reports, the ticket will go on sale the same day that regular tickets do, Monday, February 29. It'll cost $100, and there's only 1,000 available in total. These limited edition tickets will allow viewers to watch Batman v Superman as many times as they could possibly want at both IMAX and regular showings.

Some may question why anyone would want to buy a $100 ticket to a movie they're not 100% positive they'd want to see more than once, but clearly the collectible aspect of this card will no doubt be what sells it. Since there will only be 1,000 of them made, that means that some lucky fans can forever possess a part of this cinematically historic moment when Batman and Superman come together on the big screen for the first time ever. Even if the film would fail to meet expectations (though hopefully that won't be the case), the ticket would be worth it simply because of the exclusivity of possessing one.

Of course, that doesn't mean that it wouldn't be worth it otherwise. If the film pulls a Nolan's TDK (and hopefully it will), those who buy the tickets could no doubt get their money's worth and more from repeat viewings. IMAX tickets go for about $20 a pop, so one would only have to watch the film five times in order to get what they paid for from the showings alone. Some may think that's an absurd number of times to head to the theaters for any movie, no matter how good it might be, but there were definitely a number of fans who did it for Nolan's The Dark Knight (and there's obviously been fans who've done it for other superhero flicks as well).

Of course, this is good business for Batman v Superman as well. If they count these limited edition tickets towards their overall sales, that means they'll be making $100,000 from these sales alone. Of course that's not all that much in the grand scheme of things, but it'll definitely be a great way to start off pre-sales on Monday.

Tickets go on sale on Regal's website on the 29th. Keep an eye out for when sales start, because which such a limited supply, they're sure to sell out quick!
