Marvel Reveals the Teams for Civil War 2!
We're currently preparing for Marvel's Captain America: Civil War to hit theaters, giving us the biggest cinematic superhero showdown to date. But, in a case of history repeating, the heroes of Marvel's comic book universe are preparing for a rematch in the upcoming Civil War 2 series.

Civil War 2 will see a new ideological debate erupt into all out war, as Marvel's mightiest characters debate the ramifications of an all new hero who has the ability to calculate the future outcome of events with near-perfect accuracy. Now, Marvel has revealed the two teams for the all new, all different Civil War, with Captain Marvel wanting to profile future crimes and punish villains before they have happened, and Iron Man taking the stance that no matter how heinous the outcome, punishment cannot come before the crime.

Opening quote
A new power has emerged, one that can predict the future-for good or ill- and the heroes of the Marvel Universe are faced with a choice: Wield the power of "predictive justice" to change the future as they see fit, or reject it and allow tomorrow to unfold unaltered. Protect the future. Change the future. Choose your side.
Closing quote

Revealed in two new promo images, Iron Man and Captain Marvel's two teams read as a who's who of Marvel's all new all different comic book universe.

Joining Captain Marvel in wanting to prevent future crimes are, among others, Captain America, Spider-Man, Vision, She-Hulk and Ant-Man.

On Iron Man's side are Deadpool, Daredevil, Thor, Black Panther and many more.

Teams for Civil War 2

Civil War 2 will kick off with a special prologue issue released on Free Comic Book Day (May 7th). In this issue, the new hero at the center of the battle predicts that one of the Marvel Universe's biggest heroes will cause a hugely destructive even in just three days time. The debate over how to handle this information sends shockwaves through the heroes, and Marvel has already teased that one major character will murder another, but you'll have to tune in later to find out who that will be.
