Stan Lee Has Issues With Fantastic Four's Doom and Sam Jackson's Nick Fury
Stan Lee took to the stage at Silicon Valley Con today, fielding a ton of questions from the hundreds of fans packed who packed in to seem him. Showing no signs of slowing down, Lee had his say on everything from the great Civil War debate to the what he would change about Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury. Check out some of the highlights from a truly entertaining Q&A

Favorite Superhero besides Spider-Man:
The first question of the day was an obvious one, but after a little cajoling, he finally gave an answer on who his favorite Marvel characters were, besides Spider-Man, of course. "I love them all," Lee said. "You could mention any one and I would say they're my favorite." He eventually went on to reveal that, Spider-Man aside The Avengers were probably his favorite. There's no denying, though, this is a man who is understandably Spider-Man through and through.

His Favorite Cameo.

Stan Lee is known for creating some of the greatest comicbook characters of all time, but he's also made a name for himself as a legendary cameo actor. Before answering what his favorite cameo role was, Lee took the time to make a plea for cameo actors to get a nod by the Academy Awards. "When they have the next academy awards, they better have an award for the best cameo appearance." And we all know who would win that one.

But on the subject of his favorite cameo, Lee said he really enjoyed his appearance in Avengers, because "It's typical of the way I live my life."

His Least Favorite Cameo

The next logical step was to discuss his least favorite cameo, something which Lee was a great deal more open about. "My least favorite cameo was the second one I ever did. It was a Spider-Man movie and everybody is looking up and I was one of the people looking up, and that was it." Lee joked that he felt as though the Spider-Man 2 cameo didn't take full advantage of his creative powers. "I resented that because it didn't get the chance to show the full power of my acting abilities, and I told the director that."

What Has Been the Best Superhero Costume in the Movies:

As you would expect, Lee loves almost all the costumes that have been created for Marvel adaptations, but that doesn't mean he couldn't take a quick jab at Fox's 2014 Fantastic Four movie. Lee said that if Doctor Doom had been done properly, it would have been the best comicbook movie costume of all time.

"They never gave Doctor Doom the right costume. If they'd given him the right costume it would have been Doctor Doom."

What's it Like Working with Kevin Smith, and Will You be in Mallrats 2?
"It's great, and yes I will," was Lee's response to this question. But the comicbook legend went on to wax lyrical about Smith, and it was clear that he had a lot of time for his fellow geek icon. Lee confirmed that he is expecting to have a bigger role in Smith's upcoming Mallrats sequel, reveling in the opportunity to flex his considerable acting skills. Mallrats 2 is set to shoot at some point this year.

Could an Elevator Lift Thor's Hammer?
You can stop the arguments, because Stan Lee has spoken out on the issue of Thor's hammer in an elevator. Lee says he believes an Elevator could rise with the hammer in it: "You're not lifting the hammer from anywhere, but if you tried to lift it from the floor of the elevator, then you'd have trouble."

What Does the Future Hold for Marvel?

Lee said he was hugely optimistic for the future of the comicbook industry, stating that adaptations of comicbooks are in better hands than ever."I think the future is going to get better and better for the fans. The people doing the movies now, they're not just businessmen, they're fans."

Lee then went on to tease what the future holds for some of his creations, revealing that work is still underway on his new creation, The Annihilator and that his show, Stan Lee's Lucky Man, is due to get renewed in the UK, with its first season also set to air in the US in the near future. But, even at the age of 93, Stan Lee isn't finished there. Lee teased that over the next year there

Who is the Worst Actor He's Worked With?

Lee neglected to name an actor, stating that he has a huge respect for all the actors that have appeared in adaptations of his characters, but he did reveal he has an issue with one major Marvel character's adaptation. Talking about his good friend Samuel L Jackson's performances as Nick Fury, Lee took issue with the way his character appears on the big screen.

Opening quote
"He's a wonderful actor, but I don't think they make him tough enough in the movies. They make him too calm. I'd like to see him ripping into things, yelling and screaming – like I do."
Closing quote

We'd have to agree with Mr. Lee, especially seeing as Samuel L. Jackson is kind of the master at yelling and screaming. Maybe we should get Tarantino to direct his next appearance in the MCU?

Is He Team Cap or Team Iron Man
Opening quote
"I haven't made up my mind yet. I have to read what they say. I have to think about it, talk to my associate. I really don't know. Since they're all good guys, I guess I would side with all of them. I'm not a guy who makes a hasty decision, I think about it and analyze it."
