Zack Snyder Teases Justice League Villain and His Comics-Accurate Evil Plan
Of all the Easter eggs and references in Batman v Superman, some of the most explicit were the references to DC Comics villain Darkseid, who is presumed to be the primary antagonist of Justice League. Now, in a new podcast with Empire, Zack Snyder seemed to confirm fans' predictions that Darkseid will appear, as well as teasing his nefarious plan that's ripped straight from the comics:
Although technically he's remaining coy, this sounds an awful lot like Darkseid will be the villain of Justice League, and will be searching for the Anti-Life Equation, which is his ultimate goal in the comics as well. The Anti-Life Equation is an equation that gives the person who discovers it the power to dominate the will of all sentient races. Its name derives from the assertion that "if someone possesses absolute control over you - you're not really alive."

Does this mean we've seen the last of Lex Luthor? Jesse Eisenberg was weirdly cagey about returning, but judging from this post announcing a "suspension of operations" at the fictional LexCorp, it seems that it's more likely Lex will be working in conjunction with Darkseid in some way.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, LexCorp Industries will be temporarily suspending it's global operations. When interviewed about his actions against a fallen alien, Lex Luthor responded with; "Ding, ding, ding, ding. Are we entering the second round?" We do not understand Mr. Luthor's actions and LexCorp does not take responsibility for his actions. Thank you for being patient.
