Deadpool Breaks the Fourth Wall in Announcement of Blu-Ray Special Features
< >
20th Century Fox has just announced the special features for the Deadpool Blu-ray release, and the announcement is as cute, snarky, and meta as you would expect it to be:

Deadpool Special Features

The features all look great, especially the deleted scenes (just think of the jokes they didn't dare to put in), and details on the fight coordination, since those fight sequences are to die for. Although, if we're picking favorites for the audio commentary, I'd vote for Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. Not only are they the "real heroes" who came up with most of our favorite Deadpool jokes (along with Tim Miller and Ryan Reynolds), they have the benefit of not being accompanied by the somewhat controversial Rob Liefield. Although, it might be worth it to listen to Liefield's commentary just to see if he mentions that Captain America cover.

The special features include:

Deleted/Extended Scenes (with optional audio commentary by director Tim Miller)
Gag Reel
Audio Commentary (with director Tim Miller & Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld)
Audio Commentary (with Ryan Reynolds and writers Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese)
From Comics to Screen... to Screen
Galleries (concept art, storyboards, costumes, pre-vis, and stunt-vis)

There's also something called "Deadpool's Fun Sack," which of course inspired a dirty joke from meta-Deadpool, but honestly, what else could that possibly mean?

Deadpool comes out on Blu-ray on May 10, and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon and Best Buy.
