As was previously thought, Marvel confirmed that it will be the Robbie Reyes version of Ghost Rider, and not the more popularized Johnny Blaze. The new character will be played by Gabriel Luna, an actor best known for his work on the show, Wicked City.
Ghost Rider has already appeared on screen played by Nicolas Cage in both the 2007 version of Ghost Rider as well as its sequel, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengance. However, this will be the first time that Ghost Rider is officially introduced into the MCU and it will also be the first time we will get to see the Robbie Reyes version.
The upcoming season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is shaping up to be another exciting adventure with all new challenges for our favorite team.
