Star Wars-Inspired "Scum and Villainy" Cantina Coming to Hollywood
< >
We already know that Star Wars Land will replicate the Cantina from Star Wars in all its glory, but if you can't wait until then, a pop-up version of the Cantina (which will be very careful not to use Star Wars in its name) is coming to Hollywood, so you can hang out with the "Scum and Villainy" from the (not) Star Wars universe to your heart's content.

The Scum and Villainy Cantina, based on the Mos Eisley Cantina, is a limited-time experience that allows you to eat and drink inside a spaceport cantina. And, of course, costumes are encouraged—but "leave your droids at home." You can walk in from 11pm-2am, or you can make two-hour reservations from 6-8pm or 8:30-10:30pm (with an extra 305pm reservation on Saturday). The location is secret, but the zip code is listed as 90028.

Opening quote
The Scum and Villainy Cantina is nestled less than 12 parsecs away, in the wretched hive of Hollywood, CA. This temporary pop-up experience transports you into a fully immersive environment where you drink, eat, and hang out as if you were in a galaxy far away. If you've got the credits, we'll serve your kind here… just make sure to leave your droids at home. Costumes encouraged. Included with your reservation is two drinks of your choice, a souvenir pint glass, Scum and Villainy challenge coin, a few extra surprises, and two hours of the most immersive galactic scenery this far into the outer-rim.
Closing quote

Since they don't have Disney's budget (or the rights), we'd imagine they won't have animatronic versions of Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes (although costumed humans probably aren't out of the question). But still, it sounds like a veritable haven for Star Wars nerds, if they can avoid the Disney assassins long enough to open. The only thing that could make it better is a memoriam poster for Greedo (or a "Han Shot First" poster, to get right to the point).
