Here's Your First Look at Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Fired-Up Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider is coming to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. this season, and now we finally have our first look at the hot-headed superhero. We already got our first look at a cooled-down Robbie Reyes, and last night's new trailer teased his appearance with a tantalizing glimpse at his flaming car:

But now, ABC has released the first official image of Ghost Rider to Yahoo, this time in all of his flaming glory:

 SHIELD

As we can see in both the trailer and promo image, this Ghost Rider won't be the best-known Johnny Blaze, who rides a flaming motorcycle, but Robbie Reyes, a teenager who drives a flaming 1969 Dodge Charger. His origin story in the show is unknown, but in the comics, his origin is also significantly different, as he is possessed by the soul of a serial killer rather than an actual demon.

The character's introduction is also in keeping with the increasing mysticism of the Marvel Universe. With Doctor Strange coming out this November, Daredevil diving into (fairly racist) mystic ninja territory, and Iron Fist coming next year, magic will be an important player in the future of the MCU. Let's just hope this Ghost Rider is a little more grounded than Nicolas Cage's.

Ghost Rider will debut in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fourth season premiere, which airs on September 20 at 10pm on ABC.
