Luke Cage Had a "Back to the Future" Easter Egg You Might Have Missed
We've all been binging Luke Cage all weekend, and looking for hidden MCU Easter eggs along the way. But thanks to a savvy fan and the internet, we now know that another franchise has been canonized in the Marvel Universe: Back to the Future.

According to Reddit user Leahcimwerf, a newspaper clip from the tenth episode, "Take It Personal," has a sly reference to Back to the Future. While the main attraction is the center article, the side article on the right references a doctor named "Brown" who created a "Thrust Capacitator" that desalinizes ocean water and "could one day make time travel possible":

Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that Back to the Future is part of the MCU canon, especially since we haven't seen anything resembling time travel yet (and more importantly, there are probably licensing issues). But still, this is probably the most fun official headcanon we can imagine.

Luke Cage season one is now streaming on Netflix.
