Luke Cage and Iron Fist Will Face Off Against "The Smartest Person in the Marvel Universe"
Riri Williams recently dethroned Tony Stark as the smartest person in the Marvel Universe, but according to the panelists at the Marvel NOW! panel at New York Comic Con, a returning Power Man and Iron Fist villain gives Ironheart a run for her money. In the upcoming arc, "Harlem Burns," the heroes will cross paths with former Runaway Alex Wilder, who possesses a "dangerous intellect."

Power Man and Iron Fist

Wilder was previously a member of the Runaways, whose parents headed up the criminal organization Pride. He was eventually revealed to be a spy for his parents, and was executed as a traitor and eventually resurrected. Now, he'll be a new threat to Luke Cage and Danny Rand, and will be following in his parents' footsteps by leading his own version of the Pride.

Riri Williams has indeed been established as the smartest person in the Marvel Universe, and in the Marvel NOW! panel, the speakers revealed that she would be the first to solve The Hulk's Banner Box, which measures a person's intellect. But still, the panelists call him "the smartest person in the Marvel universe," which is possibly tongue-in-cheek, or maybe meant as a challenge to Marvel writers to depict Wilder facing off against Ironheart.

Wilder will be re-introduced in the Harlem Burns story arc, which begins with Power Man and Iron Fist #10. Here are the covers for issues #10 and #11, illustrated by Sanford Greene.
