Doctor Strange's Post-Credits Scene Has Been Leaked!
Between the amazing international trailer for Doctor Strange (featuring the Cloak of Levitation!) and Kevin Feige's promise that the Sorcerer Supreme will be playing a big role in subsequent Marvel movies, we're just about ready to break into Marvel Studios and finally see the damn movie (NOTE: Outer Places does not endorse breaking into Marvel Studios or waiting outside Benedict Cumberbatch's apartment in tears to ask him about the movie). Either way, it looks like someone did the next best thing and got a sneak peek at the post-credits teaser scene from Doctor Strange. That's right—those manipulative little sequences after the movie credits, where the studio teases the next movie in the series with a special short scene. Thanks to ScreenCrush, we now what's going to happen in that sequence.

[SPOILER WARNING]
Major spoilers for Doctor Strange incoming!

So first off, the teaser starts mid-credits, when Doctor Strange invites Thor to his base of operations, the Sanctum Sanctorum. He tells Thor that he's made it his business to nip all of Earth's mystical threats in the bud, including Thor's brother Loki. Thor tells Strange that he can't turn Loki over to him—he still needs Loki's help to find out where his father, Odin, went. If you remember, Loki was impersonating Odin in Thor: The Dark World, but we never found out where the real Odin went to (unless he migrated over to American Gods as Mr. Wednesday...we'd watch that crossover!). So with that in mind, Strange makes a deal with Thor: he'll help the thunder god find Loki and Odin, but after that, the Asgardians will have to stop meddling in Earth's affairs and leave Earth forever.

So already, Doctor Strange is driving hard, Godfather-style bargains with gods. Nice work, Strange. But the real post-credits scene deals with Mordo.

After the credits finish rolling, we see Baron Mordo, Chiwetel Ejiofor's character. Throughout the film he's been a pretty close ally to Doctor Strange, but those feelings turn sour, it seems, when Strange is named the new Sorcerer Supreme. The post-credits scene shows Mordo returning to Benjamin Platt's character, who previously healed Strange's paralysis with some mystical powers. Mordo approaches Platt's character and forcibly consumes his power, taking it for his own and muttering "There are too many sorcerers."

Unfortunately, we don't have video of these scenes yet, but for now we can revel in the knowledge that we know 1) how Strange plays into the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok (he's gonna be helping Thor find Odin and Loki) and 2) that Mordo will be facing off with Strange in later movies. Now the only question left is whether the Eye of Agamotto is an Infinity Stone. Our bets are on "yes."
