New Suicide Squad Extended Cut Trailer Features New Joker and Harley Footage
Suicide Squad had so much potential, but it was ultimately a huge mess, which many fans are hoping can be rectified in the extended cut. Now, a new trailer highlights the added footage in the Blu-ray, including more scenes with Margot Robbie's acclaimed Harley Quinn and Jared Leto's nearly-omitted Joker:

After Suicide Squad came out, Leto claimed that a ton of Joker scenes were cut from Suicide Squad, so many that you could make an entirely new movie from them. And we wouldn't be surprised if that were true, considering that there was so much hype for his character, and he ultimately had a glorified cameo. Plus, there were many Joker scenes from the trailer that didn't make it into the film, and the rumored deleted scene list contained a whole lot of Joker and Harley.

Many fans have been hoping that the new footage from the extended cut will fill in some of the blanks of Suicide Squad, including a lack of development in Joker and Harley's complicated, abusive relationship. I doubt that the Blu-ray footage will fix all of the movie's flaws, but at least the Joker/Harley anti-love story might feel a little less rushed.

Suicide Squad comes out on Blu-ray on December 13.
