Did Ryan Reynolds Lend Taylor Swift His Deadpool Costume for Halloween?
If you went to New York Comic-Con this year, you got a preview of Halloween: Harley Quinn, Negan, Kylo Ren, and the now-traditional swarm of Deadpools in various bizarre outfits (including kawaii versions with giant anime eyes). So when Taylor Swift posted a picture of herself at a Halloween party wearing a Deadpool outfit, a couple people laughed and wondered where the biggest pop star in the world bought her costume—some VFX studio in Hollywood? Despite the inevitable Instagram filter, you could see that it was pretty accurate, and quite high-quality. Here's the shot:
Nice costume, Tay-Tay. Where'd you get it? Did you borrow it from Ryan Reynolds?

Oh. Maybe you did.
Now, despite the implication that this is the Deadpool costume Reynolds uses in his movies (and apparently keeps in his trunk in case he needs to swear at some kids for Halloween), it's dubious that that's the case. First of all, Ryan Reynolds is 6'2 while Swift is 5'10, and that suit is quite tight-fitting, especially the mask—if that was Reynold's real suit, it'd look rather baggy on Ol' Swiftie. Second, Ryan Reynolds loves that suit more than life itself, and it's doubtful that he'd let anyone take it for a spin without his direct supervision. Still, as we've seen in his ongoing joke-feud with Hugh Jackman, Reynolds can be an unpredictable fellow, especially when it comes to his Deadpool persona.
The most important thing is that the suit returns in the next movie, safe and sound. And that the new director does not screw up Deadpool 2.
