Tom Holland Is Contracted for Six Spider-Man Movies
Spider-Man: Homecoming is one of the most hotly anticipated movies in the MCU, and although we could have predicted that there will inevitably be a sequel, Marvel is counting on a lot more than that. According to Tom Holland, he's contracted to play the character in no less than six Marvel movies.

In a wide-ranging interview with THR, Holland revealed the terms of his contract with Marvel:
Opening quote
"They give you options, and those could be exercised whenever. Like a cameo in Avengers. I'm unclear as to which movies, though. I do know I have three Spider-Man movies and three solo movies contracted."

He seems to have misspoken, but he probably means that he has been contracted for three group films, like Avengers: Infinity War, and three solo movies. Holland hasn't officially been confirmed for Infinity War, but considering how sprawling the cast of that film will be, it's a pretty safe bet.

Holland also revealed that he found out about his casting in Civil War through a Marvel Instagram post:

Opening quote
I was in my bed scrolling through Instagram. It had been about a month since my audition. And Marvel just posted a photo saying go to our website and find out who the next Spider-Man is. I went on the Marvel website on my computer and there it was: The new Spider-Man is Tom Holland. I went ballistic, like absolutely nuts.

Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7, 2017.
