Awesome Westworld Infographic Explains the Multiple Timelines
Westworld has many different burning questions percolating before the season finale this weekend: what exactly is the deal with Arnold? What is at the center of the maze? But most of all, what the heck is going on with the timeline?

Potential spoilers ahead!

Of all the fan theories about Westworld, and there are many, one seems to be the most plausible: the entire show is taking place over multiple timelines. It was first suggested by fans a few episodes in, and the theory has gained more and more traction every episode. According to this theory, everything that happens with William, Logan, and Dolores takes place in the park thirty years ago (when Anthony Hopkins was a young, CGI-heavy man), while all of the scenes with Ford (modern-day Anthony Hopkins), the Man in Black, and Dolores takes place in the present. And even crazier: William eventually becomes the Man in Black.

In other words, it's a complete mind-fuck. If you're having trouble sorting out all of the what-happened-when, here's a handy infographic from Redditor draupp:

Although we'd probably have to watch the whole series again to fact-check the entire timeline, this seems about right judging from what we know so far. Some of the details are left intentionally vague, since there's so much that we just don't know, but maybe we'll find out how all the pieces fit together after the season finale on Sunday night.
