International 'Rogue One' Trailer Reveals More New Footage
With just ten days remaining until it hits theaters, we're now tantalizingly close to the premiere of the next Star Wars movie, Rogue One, which means we're in the stage of devouring every morsel of new content we can get our mitts on until we can consume the whole film. Today's crumbs arrive in the form of a new international trailer, which shows off some previously unseen footage of the film.

Right off the bat, I'm just going to say that this is the most action-packed trailer we've seen so far. That's not too surprising since this seems to be aimed at a Chinese audience and they generally seem to favor explosive action over story in their American films (why do you think those terrible Transformers movies keep getting made?), but the action does look pretty great.

There appears to be some up close footage of the damage the Death Star is capable of, our first look at a light-bow and arrow, and lots of explosions. There also seems to be a greater focus on Jyn Erso's team overall, especially Hong Kong actor Donnie Yen's Chirrut Îmwe, who gets considerably more screentime than the film's heroine. Whether this is due more to Chinese audience's reluctance to accept a female protagonist or to their familiarity with Yen is anyone's guess, but his character does look especially badass, so the extra coverage is definitely welcome.

You can check out the trailer, which could possibly our last peek at new footage before the film debuts, below.
