Man Of Steel Sequel Put On Fast Track
The lines outside the movie theaters have barely started forming for this Friday's release of Man of Steel, but that hasn't stopped Warner Bros. putting the movie's sequel on the fast track for production.
Director Zack Snyder and Screenwriter David S. Goyer have both signed for the sequel, but Deadspin reports that Christopher Nolan is yet to commit himself to the project. Nolan, who sprinkled his stardust on this latest reboot of Superman as a producer, is expected to be involved in the sequel, but this time in a much more limited role.
Deadspin continue to report that Goyer's deal is part of a significant 3 movie bundle, including the Man of Steel sequel and the much-discussed Justice League movie.
The news comes as the hype for Snyder's Man of Steel ramps up before it's release this week. The film's stellar cast, which includes Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Kal-El, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Russell Crowe as Jor-El. Fans have been encouraged from the teaser footage released in the build up to release and many are touting Man of Steel to become the year's biggest movie.
