Ryan Reynolds Poses at the X-Mansion While Filming 'Deadpool 2'
20th Century Fox
While the rest of the X-Men franchise is hard at work with big-budget spectacles like Dark Phoenix and New Mutants, their most successful movie star (by a large amount) is still taking it easy. This, of course, is Deadpool.

Having finished up its casting a couple months ago, Deadpool 2 is now filming on location at Hatley Castle in Canada. While the castle has shown up in other superhero shows needing a cool mansion (both Smallville and Arrow, for example), it's most well known for being Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters throughout the X-Men series. And going off a photo posted by Ryan Reynolds, Deadpool apparently has the whole X-Mansion to himself right now:

Dropped by X-Mansion. Looked closely for Beast's lawn bombs before taking well deserved nap.

Besides telling us that Beast's "lawn bombs" are a problem on the grounds, this also means Deadpool will be returning to the X-Mansion in the sequel. He appeared there briefly in the first movie, where he made a quick joke about how Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead were the only mutants home (almost as if they didn't have the budget for more X-Men).

We know of at least two more mutants who will appear in Deadpool 2, namely Cable (Josh Brolin) and Domino (Zazie Beetz), but they don't usually hang around the X-Mansion. So unless there are more cameos we don't know about - and with X-Men's enormous cast, that leaves us with some options - this means that the sequel will have even more Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Or we'll get a scene of Deadpool home alone in Xavier's castle, which could easily lead to the castle blowing up again like in X-Men: Apocalypse. It's not easy being the X-Mansion.

Deadpool 2 is scheduled to hit theaters June 1, 2018.
