Ender's Game Welcomes Comic Con To Battle School
< >

Welcome to Battle School. That's the basis for the two action-filled clips for Ender's Game that were released as part of the San Diego Comic Con festivities. Harrison Ford speaks directly to you as Colonel Graff, welcoming you to Battle School and stressing the need for the planet's brightest children to fight a second invasion from the alien Formics. A second clip flirts with the legendary run of Mazer Rackham, who almost single handedly repelled the first Formic invasion.

The footage, with close ups of International Fleet uniforms and the direct appeal from Graff, is really quite cool. With all the negative discourse around the adaptation, it's nice to just get back to being excited for what looks set to be a true sci-fi epic. And excited is exactly what you will be after watching some more lengthy footage of aircraft dogfights in the clip 'Mazer Rackham's Run'.

This all means that the film's November 1st release date is starting to feel tantalizingly close for a lot of fans. To add to the hype, Summit Entertainment will have a Battle School experience center set up at Comic Con this week. Here, fans will be able to stroll through 8 different rooms of the International Fleet's battle school, including Ender's own quarters and a battle school class room, at which  you can watch one of Colonel Graff' lectures.

Bring on November 1st!
