James Spader Will Be Ultron In Marvel's Avenger's Sequel

Marvel's huge Avenger's sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron, finally has an actor for the title role. Marvel have just announced that James Spader will play the robotic villain, Ultron. The announcement puts an end to weeks of rumors over just who would take the role, with Spader rising to the top of what we expect was a fairly significant pile.

Spader will be best known to many Sci-Fi fans for his appearance in the Stargate movie, in which he played the lead role of Dr.Daniel Jackson. More recently, he appeared in the low-budget sci-fi movie, Alien Hunter in 2003 and just last year played W.N Bilbo in the Oscar-Winning Steven Spielberg epic, Lincoln.

It is this varied big-screen experience as well as significant TV roles that secured Spader the title role, but the announcement will no doubt take many fans by surprise. Fans shouldn't be disappointed though. These kinds of roles require an actor with bags of charisma, bags that Spader most certainly has.
