Minnesota Science Teacher Snaps UFO, Seeks Answers
Allison Barter teaches science at a small school in rural Minnesota, but when she photographed a strange translucent object in the sky, she was unable to find any logical explanation. Talking to the local paper, The Grand Forks Herald, Barter said of the object, "It's not an object known to this planet. I don't know what it is".
While Barter may be unsure on the objects origins, many will no doubt be suggesting that this is just a simple weather balloon. In conflict with this explanation would be the witness's account of trying to capture the object with her camera. Of the event Barter said "The two of us are watching it zoom across the sky, and i'm trying to get a picture of it, but I couldn't catch it". Well, luckily for us Barter and her companion were able to get a shot of the object in the end, but the fact that it was travelling at such a great speed must surely rule out the weather balloon explanation?
Barter is an experienced skywatcher, taking part in the Star Watch program, but she insists she has never seen an object like this before. Seemingly without an explanation, Barter has been showing the image to locals in the hope she can get an answer to the mystery, but for now, she remains certain it was not of this Earth.
The image above was captured while Barter was photographing Pelicans in the Cass Lake area of Minnesota on 2nd September. If you were in the area or if you have seen a similar object, let us know.
