Sandra Bullock Consults Astronaut About ISS Life
Sandra Bullock has been getting some rather outstanding reviews for her role as Ryan Stone in Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity and in a new video from NASA TV, we discover that she had the perfect inspiration for what could become an Oscar winning role. NASA astronaut Cady Coleman spent a few months onboard the ISS between 2010 and 2011 and she was happy to help when Bullock sought her out for some insight into life in zero-G. In particular, Bullock was curious about how an astronaut traverses the many narrow corridors of the International Space Station, a question to which Coleman responds quite simply, "You fly".
Even in such a short video, you can tell there is a real bond between the Bullock the superstar actress and Coleman, the experienced astronaut. But don't think for a second that this bond or Bullock's experiences of filming Gravity have given her a wanderlust for getting off this planet. She has absolutely no intention of exiting Earth's atmosphere anytime soon.
