Details Revealed For Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Show
The good people at the BBC have finally revealed some details for the upcoming Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special. According to DoctorWhoTV.co.uk the BBC have released the following synopsis for the one off special entitled 'Day of the Doctor'
"The Doctors embark on their greatest adventure in this 50th anniversary special. In 2013, something terrible is awakening in London's National Gallery; in 1562, a murderous plot is afoot in Elizabethan England; and somewhere in space an ancient battle reaches its devastating conclusion. All of reality is at stake as the Doctor's own dangerous past comes back to haunt him."
So, as we have come to expect from Doctor Who, this will be a time-travelling romp through history and space, but just how all of these bizarre pieces will fit together is anyones guess. However, if this synopsis means we are going to see Queen Elizabeth 1st battling Daleks, then this is going to be one for the history books!
Featuring characters old and new, The Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special will be simulcast around the world on November 23rd.
