Arizona UFO Sighting Causes A Stir On YouTube
A UFO sighting from Chandler, Arizona that was posted to Youtube late last Thursday has since racked up close to 40,000 views, but is it worth the hype? The sighting (seen above) supposedly shows multiple objects in the late evening sky, south of Phoenix. Upon watching the video, it is certainly tricky to see exactly what it is that has the man behind the camera so excited, but there are, upon close inspection, glimpses of lights off towards the horizon.
The brief witness description reads:
"We saw these at 8:45pm November 7th, 2013 in Chandler, AZ. At least 30 to 40 of them. Other witnesses. Military chopper approached after sighting began from the South."
The witnesses are clearly excited by what they are seeing and their reaction does not seem like that of a group of hoaxers, so are these really unexplainable objects? That has been the big debate on the video's comments section, with explanations ranging from alien visitation to Government craft to a simple case of mistaken identity.
Certainly it would be hard to give this sighting a definitive classification based purely on the rough footage provided, but if the number of objects stated in the description is correct, one would be hard pressed to suggest it was anything other than Chinese Fire Lanterns. After all, there appears to be no bizarre movements to speak of and the faint lighting of the objects would be consistent with a lantern seen from a great distance.
Were you in the south Phoenix area on Thursday 7th November at around 8:45pm? If so, let us know what you saw.
