New Clip For 'An Adventure In Space And Time', The Doctor Who Docudrama
Whovians! There is so much hype about the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special I feel I must remind you about 'An Adventure in Space and Time', a docudrama that explores the creation of everyone's favorite Time Lord. It airs on BBC and BBC America this Friday 22nd November and it is definitely worth delaying your trip to the 75th Hunger Games for. In this latest clip, we see Brian Cox playing Sidney Newman, the man who helped create this beloved TV gem. Newman is attempting to pitch what was, back in the 1960's, a radical idea for a BBC show containing aliens and bug-eyed monsters.
That show, as you well know, became Doctor Who and over the course of a turbulent 50 years, has gone from strength to strength attracting some of the most passionate and dedicated fans in all of science fiction. If your interest is piqued, then check out the official TV spot for the show, which contains some wonderful shots of an early 1960's Doctor Who set, Daleks and all.
An Adventure in Space and Time is directed by Terry McDonough (Breaking Bad) and stars Brian Cox, David Bradley and Jessica Raine.
