Viral For X-Men: Days Of Future Past Video Says Magneto Killed JFK
Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past is released in just under 6 months and Warner Bros. has got the ball rolling on a new viral campaign for the time-travelling mutant fest. A video, titled 'Bent Bullet JFK and the Mutant Conspiracy' has just been released, showcasing documentary footage that implies Magneto was somehow involved in the assassination of President Kennedy. The short film discusses evidence including a bent bullet found at the scene of the crime and photographs of Magneto (Michael Fassbender) on the grassy knoll moments before the assassination took place. Years later, protestors are shown chanting "FREE MAGNETO" and debate rages over the controversial evidence put forward in the prosecution of metal-manipulating mutant. The video is accompanied by a new website entitled BentBullet.com.
X-Men Days of Future Past is scheduled for release on 23rd May 2014 and will see Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen star alongside James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, giving us the old and new iterations of Professor Xavier and Magneto. This latest viral clip confirms what we all already knew, X-Men: Days of Future Past is going to be as much about time-travel as it is about superheroes.
