Teaser Trailer For Christopher Nolan's Sci-Fi Epic - Interstellar
The last movie that Christopher Nolan directed was the conclusion to his Dark Knight Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises. That was a runaway success which left sci-fi fans champing at the bit for more some more Nolan-helmed adventures. But now, the wait is over. The first teaser trailer has been released for Nolan's 2014 sci-fi epic, Interstellar and despite not showing much original footage, it doesn't disappoint.
Appealing to the sense of wonder that comes from space exploration, the teaser asks a question that has been raised a number of times in recent weeks. "Why did we stop exploring?". Indeed, this teaser couldn't have been more aptly timed with all the debate currently raging about the funding of Planetary Sciences and it features some of humanity's greatest moments in the field from the Moon landing to the return of NASA's last space shuttle.
Interstellar will follow a group of researchers who unlock the powers of a wormhole, opening up a new frontier in human space travel. In addition to Nolan's significant expertise, Interstellar will bring a brilliant cast to the screen with recent Oscar winners Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway being joined by Matthew McConaughey, Michael Cain and Wes Bentley.
Interstellar is scheduled for a November 14th 2014 release.
