Youtube Video Claiming UFO Docked With ISS Has Major Flaws
A video posted to Youtube last week has been causing a stir. The video's uploader StreetCap1 claims it contains real footage of an alien ship docking with the International Space Station and begs NASA to explain itself. However, while the video may contain real footage of the International Space Station, that is just about where the truth in Streetcap1's claims stop, because the 'alien craft' in question is in rather unsurprisingly...'shopped'.
Many people wouldn't even need to watch the video to determine whether or not it was actually fake, but for those who do watch it, you may notice that there's a pretty glaring error in its 'construction'. The leaf-like object claimed to be an alien craft is indeed placed in close proximity to the ISS. Unfortunately for the uploader and their claims though, they have placed the alien craft's docking point directly over a Soyuz spacecraft which is itself already docked with the space station. Take a look at this image of the ISS of a Soyuz craft docked with the ISS and you'll notice there aren't very many places for an alien craft to attach itself, let alone gain access to the station.
So it would seem that the creator of this video has fallen at the first hurdle and given their game up with a lack of research. Many will question if it is necessary to respond to a video such as this, but just take a look at SpaceCap1's posting history. Their channel is chock full of bold claims of alien craft, vehicles and buildings on Mars, many of which have racked up a startling number of views. Maybe we should ignore them, but this particular video and the confident claims accompanying it were just too much.
