New TV Spot for Transformers: Age of Extinction Has Lots of Robots
There's a groundbreaking new TV spot for the upcoming "Transformers: Age of Extinction" that features.... a whole lot of robots.
Did I mention that the robots fight each other? Who knew!
A deep voice at the beginning of the spot tells us that "the rules have changed." And we couldn't agree more. Nothing in this TV spot appeared in any of the other movies. There are explosions, gunfights, and, of course, a pretty girl who manages to reveal that she's a terrible actress with only one line reading. Truly innovative.
In "Transformers: Dinbot Edition," US government no longer trusts the Transformers after the destruction of Chicago in the previous film (well, sure), so a paranoid government official (Kelsey Grammer) starts hunting them down. The Decepticons, in turn, begin to plot the demise of humans. Mark Wahlberg plays a mechanic who discovers that his truck is an Optimus Prime and assists with awakening the ancient Dinobots to fight the Decepticons.
We're not exactly hoping that this movie will be "good," only that it's not so mind-numbing (read: soul-killing) that it makes us miss Shia LaBoeuf.
