Bryce Dallas Howard Says Jurassic Park Is Our Generation's Star Wars
With all the hype surrounding Jurassic World, you would be forgiven for thinking that the latest installment into the blockbuster franchise is coming to theaters this summer. Well, it's not. We still have another year to see it, but that's not stopping the hype train working its way up to full speed. This morning, NBC's 'Today' show aired some exclusive behind the scenes footage for Dino fans to sink their teeth into and, to be honest, we're a little bit excited.
Between Steven Spielberg's handpicked director Colin Trevorrow, Parks and Recreation's star Chris Pratt, and the gorgeous Bryce Dallas Howard, this sequel has a lot going for it. Teaser images from the set have rightly received a lot of positive noise, but Howard is one fan who isn't surprised.
"I feel like Jurassic Park was our generation's Star Wars," said Howard. "It's a really big deal."
Those are certainly some bold words, but given the fan base the movies have, who are we to argue?
Jurassic World comes to theaters on June 12th 2015, which will be the perfect chance for us to see if it really does have the same draw as a Star Wars movie...
