8 New Character Posters Released For Fox's Batman Prequel, Gotham
Fox has just released eight character posters for their hotly anticipated Batman prequel show, Gotham. Featuring some of the show's key characters, the posters reflect the dark, gritty and quite frankly creepy aura so often given off by entries into the Batman franchise. However, Gotham will differ from anything before it, in that it will explore the city predominantly through the eyes of the new Detective in town, James Gordon. The characters you know and love from the Batman universe are (mostly) all there, Poison Ivy, The Penguin and Catwoman are of course joined by a young Bruce Wayne and his ever-watchful guardian, Alfred.
Personally, we're loving the borderline Steampunk get-up on display for Selina Kyle (Catwoman), but we'll leave it to you to decide which you prefer...
Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon: The idealistic young detective.
Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock: Gordon's weathered, pragmatic, and cynical detective partner.
Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma / The Riddler: The young and agile forensic scientist that works for Gotham PD.
David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne: The 12-year-old becomes orphaned after his parents' murder.
Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle/the future Catwoman: the dangerous and sly teenage orphan theft.
Clare Foley as Poison Ivy/Ivy Pepper: the mysterious girl who seems to really like plants.
Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney: The dark underworld club owner and gangster.
Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin: Mooney's psycopathic assistant.
