Watch Full Documentary on the Making of The Walking Dead!
Last week, AMC aired a tell-all documentary about the making of the making of The Walking Dead, and now we can all watch the entire film online. Go "Inside the Walking Dead" and watch as AMC takes us through the "blood, sweat, and fears" of the everyday life of a zombie apocalypse survivor.
The film includes interviews with the crew and several of the stars, including Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes), Danai Gurira (Michonne), and, of course, fan favorite Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon). It features never-before-seen footage and insider information about iconic scenes, such as the very memorable half-woman from the pilot and the "well walker" from the episode "Cherokee Rose."
A few highlights:
After the zombies have been around for a season or two, "they have the consistency of a pumpkin or cantaloupe, so if you kind of stomp on it pretty vigorously, then you're gonna crush the skull, and all the brains are going to splatter everywhere. And the fans of the show really love that." Yes, yes they do.
The inspiration for Daryl's poncho came from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Reedus says, "I think I'm pretty much wearing the same pants I was wearing in Season 1."
"A main ingredient in walker brains is cottage cheese." Ew.
