Star Wars: Episode VII Announces New Cast Member Christina Chong
The casting announcements keep on coming for J.J Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII with yet another relatively unknown talent being added to the line-up. British actress Christina Chong is the latest to be added to the ever-increasing cast, and of course, we have no idea who she will be playing just yet.
Chong was born in London and has had roles in host of productions ranging from Doctor Who to comedy series The Wrong Mans. Most recently Chong appeared in 24: Live Another Day, but its safe to say that whatever her role is in J.J Abrams production, its going to be the biggest of her career so far.
Halo fans will also be looking forward to seeing Chong in the lead role for the upcoming Halo: Nightfall digital series, which is set to across Microsoft's various platforms.
The news of Chong's announcement was first reported by Latino Review. As of yet, there are no indications as to the significance or specifics of her role.
Chong joins the likes of Adam Driver, Lupita Nyongo, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Max Von Sidow and the original trilogy stars on what is looking like an outstandingly varied and talented cast.
