New TV Spot for The Flash: Barry Allen Is the Fastest Man Alive
My name is... Slim Shady. No, it's actually Barry Allen.

This TV spot is fairly action-packed, especially considering that it's only 30 seconds long. It begins with an ominous announcement: "We are now being told to evacuate the building," and a woman screaming Barry's name. This is clearly a portrayal of the Flash's origin story, in which he is hit by lightning during a freak storm caused by a particle accelerator. This lightning strike puts him into a coma, but then makes him "the fastest man alive."
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, as well as Candice Patton, Rick Cosnett, and Danielle Panabaker. The pilot was leaked online in June to positive reviews (as well as an abundance of Tumblr memes), some of which compared the show favorably to its parent series Arrow. The show premieres on Tuesday, October 7.
