Extra Reveals Details of Batman vs Superman Ending and Timeline
The final scenes of Zack Snyder's Batman vs Superman have already been filmed, and the movie will open with scenes set in the midst of the climactic battle from Man of Steel, that is according to a tipster from the movie's Detroit set.
Geek Tyrant claims that a contact working as an extra on the set of Batman vs Superman has revealed a few potentially spoiler-loaded details on the movie's continuity and ending. Before we dive into the details, we should state that even Geek Tyrant themselves aren't 100% clear on this person's credentials, so make sure you have your pinchin' salt to hand. (Potential) Spoilers below...
According to the tipster, who spent 10 days working on set in Detroit, the movie's final scenes involve Batman breaking into the Lexcorp headquarters to steal a sample of kryptonite. While he is there, Batman discovers that Lexcorp has somehow managed to get a hold of General Zod's body, although what state it is in, we don't know.
Flipping back over to the start of the movie, the contact reveals that the opening scenes are set just as Superman defeats Zod in Man of Steel. Batman is apparently there to survey the damage as he tries to make his way to the Wayne Corporation's facility in Metropolis. As the tipster states, this would certainly explain all of those images of a damaged Metropolis that have been leaked from the set, but when you have this many superheroes on screen, it's not like you're short on options for destruction.
