Confirmed - Warwick Davis Will Appear In Star Wars: Episode VII
Are the Ewoks coming to Star Wars: Episode VII? A new video posted by the official Star Wars Youtube channel reveals that Warwick Davis, who played Wicket in Return of the Jedi, will appear in JJ Abrams' 2015 movie.
Davis's appearance in Episode VII means he will have appeared in all three Star Wars trilogies, after adding the roles of Wald and Weazel in Phantom Menace to his work on Return of the Jedi (and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor). It's obviously not been revealed quite who Warwick will be playing, and as with the likes of Andy Serkis, his talents are so wide-reaching it would be almost impossible to make a prediction.
This latest piece of news adds to an already busy day of Star Wars updates which has also seen the announcement that Episode VII is 3 weeks from wrapping up filming at Pinewood studios. Elsewhere, the first name of Emperor Palpatine has been leaked despite the fact that the book in which it is revealed, 'Tarkin', is not released until next month. If you don't want to know his name look away now, but if you do, I warn you it is absolutely awful.
Sheev. Sheev Palpatine. We did warn you it was going to be bad.
To extinguish the nasty taste in your mouth left by Sheev, lets take a look at some images of Warwick Davis in Return of the Jedi and Phantom Menace.
