Avengers Age of Ultron Teaser Will Air During Next Week's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
If you're looking for a reason to watch Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D other than the fact that it is becoming one of the most entertaining hours on TV, listen up. It has been revealed that the first teaser trailer for Joss Whedon's Avengers Age of Ultron will air during next week's episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which airs on October 28th at 9pm ET.
The announcement was made last night via the official Avengers Twitter page
So what can we expect from our first piece of footage from Summer 2015's biggest movie? Will this just be a repeat of the teaser shown at San Diego Comic Con? Judging by the picture in the tweet, that may be the case, but don't be surprised if there are a few added extras thrown in.
If you weren't at SDCC this year and you weren't able to read up on what was included in the footage, here's a brief review.
The clip opened with the old Avengers gang hanging out at Stark tower. Stark, Thor, Banner, Romanoff, Rogers, and Barton are joined by Maria Hill and James Rhodes as the group fooled around trying to see who could lift Thor's hammer. The party was then interrupted by a ghoulish looking Ultron (James Spader) who, along with some of his robot sidekicks, proceeds to cause havoc. After that, a series of action shots were flicked through including that now-famous shot of Hulk battling with Iron Man's Hulkbuster armor (seen below).
Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters in May 2015 and you can read the official plot outline below:
"When Tony Stark jumpstarts a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as they battle to save the planet from destruction at the hands of the villainous Ultron."
