First Glimpse at Vision During the Ant-Man and Avengers: Age of Ultron Teaser
Of all the new characters set to star in Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, one in particular remains elusive. We've already seen the many faces of Ultron, while Scarlet Witch and her brother, Quicksilver, have both featured prominently in promotional materials. But what about The Vision? Played by the voice of J.A.R.V.I.S, Paul Bettany, The Vision is a powerful android superhero who has the ability to fly and control mass. His description alone makes him one of the most exciting new members of the team, but up until now he has remained something of an enigma.
Well, we say up until now, but this first glimpse really is brief. At 20 seconds in, a slow-mo shot of Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch is run. Over Scarlet Witch's right shoulder you'll notice a figure partially obscured by filming equipment. That, many believe, is Paul Bettany's Vision. We know it's not much, but it's a start!
The teaser, which aired during last night's Marvel: 75 Years from Pulp to Pop TV special on ABC, also featured some behind-the-scenes shots of Marvel's other 2015 movie, Ant-Man.
Earlier on this year, an image that claimed to be official Avengers: Age of Ultron concept art leaked online. The artwork has not been verified by anybody at Marvel, but it does look like a pretty good representation of what we see in the video. What do you think? Was that the lesser spotted Vision we saw in the clip above?
