SNL Skit Portrays the Elderly Future of Star Wars: The Force Awakens

NBC's Saturday Night Live are no strangers when it comes to parodying popular sci-fi franchises. Just a few weeks ago the SNL team released a hilariously on-point Guardians of the Galaxy trailer parody, and this week they turned their attentions to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and more specifically, the movie's returning cast members.

The video may be considered blasphemous by many Star Wars fans (myself included) but it's well worth a watch if not purely for the Lightsaber walking frame.

The teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been setting internet records left, right, and center since it debuted on Thanksgiving Friday and has notched up more than 60 million views.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is released in theaters on December 18th 2015 and there are not expected to be any Han Solo hearing issues or Wookies wearing the cone of shame.
